Terms of Service

1. About Ericeira Kit

Ericeira Kit is a rental service based in Ericeira, Portugal, offering surfboards, yoga mats, beach accessories, and similar equipment (collectively, “Equipment”) to tourists and visitors. By placing a booking you agree to these Terms of Service in full.

2. Rental Agreement

A booking constitutes a rental agreement between you and Ericeira Kit. The rental period runs from the start date (inclusive) to the end date (exclusive — the end date is the return day). You must be at least 18 years old to place a booking.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in Euros (€) per day. Payment is collected at pickup or by arrangement with Ericeira Kit staff. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time; the price shown at the time of booking is honoured for confirmed reservations.

4. Cancellations and Changes

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the start date: full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start date: no refund.
• Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested by email.

To cancel or change a booking, contact us at hello@ericeirakit.pt with your booking reference.

5. Care and Damage

You are responsible for the Equipment during the rental period. Equipment must be returned in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear. You will be charged the replacement cost of any Equipment that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal use. Ericeira Kit staff will assess damage at return. We reserve the right to charge the card on file or invoice for damage costs.

6. Liability

Ericeira Kit is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of rented Equipment. You use all Equipment at your own risk. It is your responsibility to ensure you have appropriate skill, physical condition, and insurance for the activities you undertake.

Our liability to you shall not exceed the total rental fees paid for the booking in question.

7. Availability

Bookings are subject to availability. In the rare event that Equipment becomes unavailable after your booking is confirmed (e.g. due to damage from a previous rental), we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mafra, Portugal.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
